Welcome to the Wayne FRN!

The Wayne Family Resource Network began on November 13, 2002. It began with a community meeting where citizens of Wayne County and Providers of Services met and agreed to support the formation of a Family Resource Network. 


The Function of the Wayne Family Resource Network
 
The Wayne Family Resource Network (WFRN) is a group composed of families, service providers, and community members who work together to improve the lives of children and families in Wayne County by improving services in Wayne County.
 
The WFRN seeks to promote outcomes such as:
  • Safe Communities     
  • Stable Families
  • Strong Families
  • Healthy People
  • Children Ready for School
  • Skilled Workforce               
 
 


The WFRN:
  • Assesses Wayne County needs and resources
  • Develops and implements a plan for Wayne County
  • Coordinates services in Wayne County
  • Increases Public Awareness
  • Mobilizes the community around issuses affecting children and families in Wayne County
  • Evaluates the results our efforts
  • Assures that resources are invested wisely in Wayne County
  • Assures that services for children and families are more effective and efficient in Wayne County
  • Address the need for new or expanding existing services in Wayne County
